In the
seventies the actual Institute of Superior Education "E. MATTEI" it
was a branch of the ITC "Luigi TANARI" (then situated in the street
Borghi Mano) and it had been being constituted for five two years
situated accountants in an ex factory in the street Torreggiani with
two school janitors and a teacher that it acted from representative
of the Headmaster, the pupils, finished the two years to S. Lazzaro,
moved him to the principal center to complete the course of studies.
Since the scholastic population was in continuous ascent, a committee
was created, of parents and teachers, that churches the creation of
an autonomous superior institute to S. Lazzaro and in November 1980
it came naugurated the actual center, then constituted by an only
central block, that became autonomous in the scholastic year 1982/1983
and that it already understood, over the commercial section, that
for business experts and correspondents in foreign languages.
In
the following years the section was added planners. The influx of
the students increased so much to also ask for other two understanding
amplifications specialclassrooms what the laboratory of chemistry,
that of computer science, that of languages and so much to be required
in 2003 the addition of sections of social high school and scientific
high school that you/they have, therefore, transformed the ITC "Mattei"
in a pole called Institute of Superior Education "Enr. Mattei" that
currently it understands 51 classes. Is currently in construction
a further amplification of the scholastic building that will be completed
in the 2010.
